Playbill is hoofing it a few blocks north. The theatergoers’ magazine, founded in 1884, is moving to Himmel + Meringoff’s 729 Seventh Ave., a building at West 49th Street with an illustrious show business history. Playbill signed a lease for 11,200 square feet and will move from 525 Seventh Ave. Its new address is home to Actors Fund of America, the Broadway League and other entertainment-world tenants. The building was once the headquarters of Hollywood studio United Artists under Douglas Fairbanks, Mary Pickford and Charles Chaplin.
